  4. 1. Pricing
  5. NotePad Deluxe has the following pricing.

  11. 2. How to register
  12. - Use the "Register" application to fill in your name etc.
  13. - Send the printout per mail or e-mail to Kagi Shareware.
  14.  
  15. IMPORTANT:
  16. If you haven't specified an e-mail address, you MUST check the postcard receipt
  17. box in the Register application. You might not receive the code needed to unlock the
  18. application otherwise.

  23. 3. Payment
  24. Paying for NotePad Deluxe is fairly simple. Open the Register program that accompanies this application.
  25. Enter your name, your email address, and the number of single user licenses you wish to purchase.
  26. Save, copy or print the data from the Register program and send the data and payment to Kagi
  27. Shareware. More specifics on the Register program to follow. Kagi Shareware handles the
  28. payment processing.

  30. If paying with credit card or First Virtual, you can email or fax the data to Kagi Shareware. Their
  31. email address is shareware@kagi.com and their fax number is +1 510 652-6589. You can either copy
  32. the data from Register and paste into the body of an email message or you can save the data to a file and
  33. you can attach that file to an email message. There is no need to compress the data file, it's already pretty
  34. small. If you have a fax modem, just print the data to the Kagi fax number.

  36. Payments sent via email are processed within 3 to 4 days. You will receive an email acknowledgement
  37. when it is processed. Payments sent via fax take up to 10 days and if you provide a correct internet
  38. email address you will receive an email acknowledgement.

  40. If you are paying with Cash or USD Check you should print the data using the Register application
  41. and send it to the address shown on the form, which is:

  48. You can pay with a wide variety of cash from different countries but at present if you pay via check, it
  49. must be a check drawn in US Dollars. Kagi Shareware cannot accept checks in other currencies, the
  50. conversion rate for non-USD checks is around USD 15 per check and that is just not practical.

  52. If you have a purchasing department, you can enter all the data into the Register program and then select
  53. Invoice as your payment method. Print three copies of the form and send it to your accounts payable
  54. people. You might want to highlight the line that mentions that they must include a copy of the form
  55. with their payment.

  57. Kagi Shareware can not invoice your company, you need to act on my behalf and generate the invoice
  58. and handle all the paperwork on your end.

  60. Please do not fax or email payment forms that indicate Cash, Check or Invoice as the payment method.
  61. As far as we know, there is still no technology to transfer physical objects via fax or email and without
  62. the payment, the form cannot be processed.

  64. Payments send via postal mail take time to reach Kagi Shareware and then up to 10 days for processing.
  65. Again, if you include a correct email address, you will hear from Kagi Shareware when the form is
  66. processed.

  69. 4. Alternate way to register
  70. An alternate way to register is to send the fee directly to us instead of to Kagi Shareware. If you do so,
  71. you should NOT use the Register application. Also, we can accept cash only (the bank charges between
  72. $15 and $80 for cashing a foreign cheque). Any currency will do. In Swedish currency the price for a single
  73. user license is 160 SEK.

  76. 5. Registration code
  77. NotePad Deluxe is protected by a registration code. You'll receive your code from Kagi Shareware together
  78. with instructions how to unlock the software. If you have specified an e-mail address, you'll receive 
  79. it per e-mail.

  81. IMPORTANT: If you haven't specified an e-mail address, you MUST check the postcard receipt
  82. box. You might not receive the code needed to unlock the application otherwise.

  84. If you want to receive the registration code quickly, you could send us an e-mail confirming that the
  85. shareware fee is on it's way to Kagi Shareware. We'll send you the registration code right away
  86. (mostly within 24 hours).

  88. The user license covers all future versions. As a registered user you'll receive information
  89. about major updates which can be downloaded from several major software archives. We also send out
  90. disks at request (costs $5).
